Installing Vessel Sink, nothing is fitting...need help on Plumbing suggestions
I'm installing a vessel sink in the bathroom.
The new Drain pipe is about 1 and 1/4 inches....the current piping in the bathroom is 2"
I bought a "kit" to see if i can attach anything...
nothing seems to fit and the adapters seems either too big.
Should I cut out the current Pipe outlet and go from there? Or figure out a way to use the 2" pipping.

Here's the nut and washer you need at HD:
Everbilt 1.5 in. Plastic Slip Joint Nut with Washer-C2698C - The Home Depot
You will use the large washer to connect an 1-1/2" extension tube to the trap.
The small washer will seal the 1-1/4" drain into the 1.5" extension.
You can cut the 1.25" tailpiece shorter.

Indeed...I measured again, and the trap is 1.5"
If my sink is very high up...and I need an Extension from my 1.25 Drain . about 6-8 inches in extension to the trap.
How would I connect everything? is there a 1.25 Slip joint nut to connect to another 1.25 Pipe?

Here's a picture of a drain I hooked up recently. All the black pieces are 1-1/2" slip tube fittings, just like your white ones.
Note: In your picture the trap is reversed, the shorter side connects to the wall arm.
