Best tool to remove these sewer inspection plugs?
I think these are 3 inches in diameter. There is a bit of paint over them so need to apply some force. Is there any kind of a special tool for this style? What is this style called?

Thank you!

Thank you!

I would use anything that happens to fit the slot, but Pasco makes this multi tool:

I'm curious why there would be 6 plugs all in the same area.

I have a metal fabrication shop and have lots of pieces of scrap laying around. I would find a piece of metal close to the thickness of the slot and cut it to be just a bit shorter in length than the slot. Insert it into the slot then grab and turn it with a large Crescent or Pipe wrench. If I wanted to make a permanent tool I would weld a 3' long piece of pipe to it to make a handle. If you don't have scrap metals lying around a metal fabrication or welding shop could easily make it for you.

Anything that fits the slot that is long and robust enough to get a set of mole grips round for leverage. I used to work on the rigs and do this sort of thing when 'conventional' methods would not work!
