Manifold Extension

Hello ,
We are finishing our basement and adding a new bathroom (sink, toilet, shower) and also a wetbar sink. Our Pex plumbing manifold does not have any free space and was wondering if i can do following
1. Is there extension for manifolds?
2. If i get a small like 5 port manifold can i extend it to original or i have to add this to main line side-by-side with original manifold?
Thanks for your help.

Yes, some manifolds are designed to be 'added on to', or others can just daisy-chain from one of the outputs.

Do you have a model or picture of your existing manifold?

You either want to take off one of the larger outputs. If you only have 1/2" outputs, you'll be a bit limited. I would put the sinks on your new manifold, and make sure the shower is on the main one since showers typically use a higher volume of water.
