Thumbs down hairline crack in terracotta sewer pipe

I have a terracotta sewer pipe (bath only) that has a hairline crack and leaks a few drops per bath/shower into the soil surrounding it. It is in a crawlspace 3 foot high and the crack is from surface to 3 inches below grade. Pictures below. Red line depicts the crack as far as I can see it.

How do I solve this? Liner, dig out the entire pipe, patch the crack etc?

There is no repairing terra cotta. It must be replaced. The entire section might not need replacing. You might be able to cut out the cracked section and install a piece of PVC with no hub couplings.
