Hey y'all,
We recently purchased our home, including a Salt Water Pool. I'm getting tired of shelling out money buying chlorine for a pool that is suppsed to create its own chlorine.
We have a Hayward T-3 AquaRite Salt Pool Chlorine Generator. It is not generating any Chlorine. The power LED is green. The Generator LED is not on, nor are any other LEDs.
I have looked at many YouTube videos, but not one deals with this specific issue. Although several of the video titles suggest they deal with this issue (but they don't).
Several times I performed the salt level reset, but the click never happens, and the read-out never changes from -0.
Suggestions from this site and others include replacing the large black varistor and the yellow blade fuse. However, they do not explain how the author knew these particular items were at fault.
If anyone has any wisdom to share on resolving this issue, I would be most thankful.

Welcome to the forums.
I moved your thread to the pool forum.
Usually the varistor looks burned or the solder on the back gets cracked.
There are a stack of threads on the problem here. Just search for "aquarite"
