Leaking Hot Tub

Greetings,
Discovered a slow leak in my hot tub about a week ago. Took the panels off yesterday, and found a slow, steady drip coming from the nut/bolt on the underside of the heater. See attached pics. Any advice on how to resolve? Thanks.

Nate

Welcome to the forums.

That is the heater. If the leak is definitely coming from the bolt then the heating element would need to be replaced. Make sure the water is not running there from somewhere else.

Thanks for the reply Pete. Water is definitely coming from there. Heating element was replaced in the fall, and seems to be heating just fine. Im thinking maybe the entire heater tube assembly?

Usually the heater is replaced as an assembly.
If it was done recently see if there is guaranty on the work or part.

If just the internal element was replaced then you would need a new heater manifold.
