Material for mat on ground beside hot tub recommendation?

I am looking to purchase a mat or attachable tiles beside my hot tub to the right side of the picture below(I will be moving the stairs to the right side since that is where the cover should be opened from). Does anyone have a recommendation for a mat or material that would be best to prevent mold / mildew / pests?

Hot tub foundation and surrounding walk way should be a solid concrete slab.

There are a lot of rubber mat options. At the lightweight end many home centers sell rubber mats of various sizes or on rolls cut to length. There are also heavy duty matts intended for use in factories, weight rooms and horse barns which can be surprisingly expensive. But heavy mats seem to last forever and because of their weight won't get blown around by the wind or float away in a heavy rain. If you want something more finished you can use a heavy duty floor mat. Commercial ones can be quite sturdy and heavy duty and the short nap carpet can be periodically cleaned with a pressure washer.
