My dad's french dressing
His name was Kenneth and the dressing was often referred to as "Ken's Salad
Dressing" no connection to the brand on the store shelves.
3 parts mayo (or MW)
2 parts ketchup
1 part mustard (whatever style you like)
He would add pickle juice as it was free and usually on hand but apple cider vinegar is what I use. It adds a kick and thins out the dressing but the amount is a personal preference and varies with whatever measures you are using from above. Start with a dash and check the taste.
It has long been a family favorite here and now that the kids are grown and gone it has become a favorite with their families as well.
