Can't remove Old Weiser Door Knob
::SOLVED:: We ended up prying it off with the claw end of a hammer. Turns out the whole thing was glued together by my father at one point cause it kept falling off.

The 2 machine screws are all that holds the lock in place. The spindle may be corroded where it passes thru the hub....might help if you pull both knobs at once. Pull hard...

Where that recessed area is on the knob you need to press in with a flat bladed screw driver to push in the retention tab, you need to press in and pull on the knob at the same time.
