Question How to repair mobile home roof?

This mobile home, previous owner turned the front porch into an extra room. This extra room, the roof is leaking. This small room, the roof looks different than rest of home (don't know why he did it this way).

The roof appears to have wood, with tar paper on top, nothing else! It's leaking along the edge, where wall and ceiling/roof meet, possibly on the edge. I want to cover the entire roof with maybe some metal.

Should I remove the tar paper first or leave it?

How would you repair this if it was yours? I am thinking, adhesive, metal sheets, bolt down with sheet metal screws with grommets in them. Just nor sure if i should remove the tar paper, and which adhesive to use?

Pics attached.

Hard to say from the pic if it's tar paper or rolled roofing, hopefully it's the latter. Rolled roofing is thicker/stiffer than tar paper. Does the material feel stiff? How does the roof attach to the MH? A metal roof is probably doable but it needs to be flashed where it meets the MH. A quick easy fix would be to nail the flashing back down and apply roof cement [tar]

I just spoke with a friend of mine and he mentioned roll roofing (just as you also just did). Would that be alright to put more over the top of it? It looks like metal might be a bit more than I want to deal with.

Not sure if it is tar paper or rolled roofing, will need to double check when I am up there tomorrow.

If it is rolled roofing could I just put more over the top of it? If tar paper, could I just put the rolled roofing over it?

I assume you could lay rolled roofing over itself or tar paper but I don't know for sure .... I'm a painter not a roofer.
