Which Henry's roof tar should I use?

I have a white rock roof. There's some areas along the "balding" edges of the roof that I want to pour some down some tar so that the white rocks will stick in place. Which Henry's tar should I use for this? That wet patch stuff is really thick. I think I probably need something more runny.

Sounds like you want roller grade tar .... I don't know if it comes in smaller containers, I've always bought it in 5 gallon buckets.

That's what I thought. For some strange reason Home Depot doesn't carry Henry's 201 in stores.

I don't pay too much attention to the brand name - just get what they have that fits the bill.

Is that stuff meant to be heated up to apply?

It's ready to roll straight out of the bucket ..... unless it's been subjected to cold temps.
