Flooring direction in bedroom + hallway

Hi everyone,

I have 3 bedrooms plus a hallway to install laminate flooring in. Please refer to my attached drawing.

Obviously bedroom 1 will go along the longest wall, but I am a bit confused about which way the hallway would be..something about putting it width-wise does not seem right to me.

My attached drawing shows the way that I think it should go, but please correct me if Im wrong. Is it it ok to put it one way in a bedroom then change directions for hallway?

Responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Looks good to me. Armstrong recommends it be installed parallel to incoming light, or if incoming light is not an issue, parallel to the longest wall.

In a small bedroom, the light source may not be as big a factor as in a large family room. I always look to laying the floor perpendicular to the floor joists system. This helps eliminate possible deflections in the subfloor between the floor joists and prevents a "wave" to the floor. In a narrow hallway, you go with the length and not across he width.
