Flooring options for unheated sunroom
I enclosed a back porch for an unheated 35'x14' sunroom in Maryland. I do not want laminate or vinyl or tile. I want a wood floor. Since the current floor is the insulated cement slab (monolithic pour for foundation and floor), nailing a floor is out for me. Moisture is not an issue, just not heating in winter and cooling only to 78 in summer. Any recommendations or lessons learned?

Welcome to the forums! Fluctuations in heat and cold, as well as ambient humidity changes would have an adverse affect on wood flooring. I agree with laminate only being good for dog houses, BUT, you may want to consider an engineered click lock flooring in 3/8" or more. It lays down fast, doesn't require the end tap to engage like laminate, and is quite hardy. You would use a manufacturer's suggested vapor barrier/underlayment. We just finished 5" bamboo click lock engineered for a client and it looks great.

I suggest Tarket all vinyl premium. It requires no padding or glue and is virtually weather proof. If submerged in water, just let it dry and re-use it. It can be laid directly on almost any surface with little or no preparation including ceramic tile (just fill in the grout spaces). It can even be laid on slightly irregular or uneven surfaces. No special tools, just a utility knife to cut it. Click in place. Leave a 1/4 inch gap at all edges to allow floating. Can be used in damp and wet areas. It cost a bit more but it's all you need. No tools, no sub-floor, no padding.
