Will 6mm cork be enough to help with this subfloor bump?
I am putting engineered wood flooring through out a 2 stories house (having a hard time finding laminate flooring with a flush stair nose) and the upstairs subfloor have a couple of reinforcement strip that bump up the height of the subfloor (I would say no more than 1/8"). I wonder if 1/4" or 6mm cork will minimize the bump in this area. Any suggestion on how to tackle this issue?
Thanks
