Installing laminate flooring under stone veneer fireplace

This probably will make me look stupid, but we recently added a stone veneer fireplace, making sure to leave enough room at the bottom knowing we would be installing new laminate flooring later. Well I started installing the laminate flooring on the opposite wall/room of the fireplace. Now that I am near the fireplace, I realize i do not know how I am going to get the planks under the stone veneer and still be able to click it into the laminate plank in front. Can anyone help me?

First you will need to know your code for how large your hearth extension needs to be. No combustible products may be installed in that area. If you already have a hearth extension that meets code, you will simply use a t-moulding around it, and after you install your flooring (leaving the appropriate clearance to the moulding) the cap will snap over the edge of your laminate.
