Laminate flooring transition piece
I need help on what to do for a transition piece between laminate flooring and bathroom tile. The bathroom has a marble transition piece already. Wondering if I can cut a side off a transition piece and butt it up against the marble trim.

Depending on the heights of the floors, you could either use a transition piece from the laminate floor manufacture or if your seams are really good, a piece of metal edging for tiles. We did one room with the metal edging, slide it under the laminate flooring and it turned out nice. took some effort to get a perfectly tight cut but got it in there.

If you have a marble sill /threshold that is under the door it probably sticks up quite a bit meaning you want to use a "T" transition and cut off one side so it butts up to the marble!
I had posted a picture of how I did my basement but will try to find!

I found the thread with the picture of how I installed the T molding next to the threshold.
