Dog chewed thermostat wires

Dog chewed thermostat wires

Hey wanted to ask for some help my dog chewed up thermostat wires to AC unit. I need help re wiring them there are 2wires coming out of the AC unit yellow/blue & yellow/brown and 5 wire thermostat I have attached pic of the diagram just not sure which wire go to what. Thanks in advise for your help - & Happy Thanksgiving

It's still attached to the contactor so all you need is a couple of wire nuts and some electrical tape.

Did the dog cause the damage to the high voltage too? That needs fixed

Welcome to the forums.

As roughneck pointed out.... that AC flex line MUST be repaired. It appears to never have been installed correctly as the locknut that holds the flex in place is missing.

You know the wires to use at the compressor end. Now you need to go to the air handler and find out which two of the five wires are used. There is no polarity to the connections.
