Add digital thermostat to garage heater

I have a ProFusion Eh-4604 ceiling mounted heater. It has 3 settings for 3000, 4000 and 5000 watts and runs on 240vac which is on a double-pole 30 amp breaker. I want to run a 24vac thermostat to control it. I’ve been reading and it looks like the Honeywell RT850T-240 would be a good fit for this but I have a few questions.

1. Will this power the thermostat or is it just controlling the 24v signal.
2. I don’t see amps listed on this device. As it is just switching one pole I assume that it supports a 15 amp draw. Can someone provide details here(I don’t like making assumptions).
>> found out it has a resistance of 23amps from the manual.
3. I currently have an old Bryant non-programmable therm and want to purchase a cost-effective programmable replacement so am looking for some options.

Welcome to the forums.

The link below is the wiring and tech sheet. 5500 watts at 240v.
These modules won't run most wifi stats. The nest is the only one that can work normally.

Any basic thermostat will work in this application.

RT850T-240

I have 3 nests for inside the house, love them but they’re a bit pricey for my garage application so I’m looking for a cheaper alternative. It doesn’t need to be WiFi enabled though. Will the Honeywell power non-WiFi programmable therms.

i replied to quick, got your answer. Thanks. I’ll shop around.

I see 2 models of this relay

and this one
https://morelectricheating.com/aube1...4v-thermostats
Id rather mount inside my 4x4 gang but am curious what the difference is? The exposed heat sync seems more reliable to me as well.
