refinishing acrylic sink?

Not sure if this is in the right forum but has anyone here successfully used a product that restores an acrylic sink gloss?

Ive tried a few polishes but they suck. I tried wet sanding finely a bit and cleaning but it doesnt work.
We have a black sink that is just scratched and worn but only a couple years old. Just want to know if there is some kind of clear coat that can be applied that will harden.
thanks

We DIY just about everything we can in our units but we hire out tub and sink repairs like this even though the guy charges an arm and a leg.

thanks, Id sooner replace the sink than pay to refinish it. Would be cheaper.

Black is just a really bad color to choose in the first place, it will show every speck of dirt and water spot, add a glossy finish and every scratch will show.
Time for a new sink.
