I just had my plumbing inspector here (I moved shower and toilet drains in concrete floor - I have the OK to put concrete back). I ordered this shower which connects with hoses so it can be slid away from the wall in case it needs servicing. He would not let me get away with setting a hose in a drain. Inspector said the shower kit had to be IPC compliant. Tech support said the shower I ordered is ETL compliant and comes with a 3 foot flex hose and that I can buy tight fitting compression adapters. Does anyone know if I can make this shower drain pass inspection? The plumbing inspector is too busy to talk to me anymore about it. Thanks in advance!

Hi folks, Any suggestions here would be great. We have a shower that squeals like a pig and makes high pitch sounds when you use it. It almost always happens when you start the shower, and then comes and goes as you take your shower. I tried running it for a few minutes on just the bathtub faucet and messing with the water strength before diverting to the shower head, but that didn't work. Any thoughts?
