Shower Drain Too High
A client has a one piece shower stall installed on concrete in their basement. The drain pipe was not cut to meet the shower stall drain opening and therefore sits above the actual shower stall drain. Obviously water collects at this point and does not properly drain. Is there anything i.e. a flange, that can be installed around the drain pipe between the drain and actual stall itself to reduce the collection of water. I know cutting the drain pipe itself is the optimum answer however at this time I will say that is not an option.
Thank you

If the pipe is too high for the pan to drain adding a ring around it will just make the water collect further away. The shower pan needs to be raised or the drain pipe cut the proper height.
