Use wax ring horn, or not?

I've been noticing some wax rings come with a plastic horn, others not. Is there a situation(s) to warrant using or not using either?

Not everyone likes them but IMO they are beneficial when the floor has been raised [but not the flange]

Usually the plastic funnel is used on jumbo or thick wax rings. Standard or thin rings usually do not have the funnel.

Replacing kitchen sink sprayer hose

Hose is leaking under sink when faucet is on. Found out it's coming from where the metal fitting meets the rubber hose where it connects to the faucet. Want to go ahead and replace the hose but not sure how to disconnect from where it hooks into the faucet. It's not a screw on screw off type of connection. Any ideas? [ATTACH]79057[/ATTACH]

Adhesive to use in a toilet tank

Hello .. I want to insulate a toilet tank. I cut blue foam (camping pad) to fit the tank, it fits nice. I need to glue it to the tank itself but am uncertain as to what kind of adhesive I should use. The tank is bone dry, has never been used yet ..I bought it by mistake but can't return for an insulated one. Does anyone know what kind of adhesive I can use for this project. Thank you.
