Installing a disposal
Hi All, any tricks for installing a disposal onto the drain other than to muscling into place with one hand. Just curious.

Nothing special, just lining up drain and don't forget to knock plug out if you have a dishwasher.

It's hard to do, but I try to fit both feet in the cabinet. I face the disposer and lift it up by the ring.
Lifting by the ring is the key, especially on ones with a sound baffle.

Update, all installed and working great,the strainer had a foam like gasket between it and the sink and minimal silicone so it basically popped right out, I used a small bottle jack with a metal plate on top and jacked it right into place,Slick!
