Help with Delta Monitor Faucet Identification (to replace cartridge)

I have a shower with an old Delta Monitor faucet. I think it's a 13-series (from early 1990's).

I've nursed it as long as I can, now I need to replace the cartridge. It appears the cartridge is no longer available from Delta, that there may be a replacement or conversion kit available instead.

I'm looking for advice from someone with specific experience who can help me find a source for a replacement cartridge or conversion. I've uploaded images of the intact faucet and of the cartridge itself.

I greatly appreciate it if anyone can assist.

Delta, Price Pfister, Moen, etc. almost always, when contacted regarding parts will come up with what you need. Have you contacted them directly or just through HD, etc? Most times they ship it to you free of charge.

Chandler, thanks for the advice. I'll try the mfr directly (it was a weekend when I posted).
