Add handheld shower to tub faucet

I'd like to replace the tub faucet aerator (arrow in photo) with some kind of adapter onto which I can place a shower hose and handheld shower head. The faucet and spout are by Moen. How would I do this, and what are my options? Name: bath faucet.jpg

The aerator has a very fine thread, we used to have an adaptor that hooked up to a faucet to a garden hose when we filled our water bed.

You will just need to find some type of hand-held shower head and find appropriate adaptor.

Thank you, Marq1. Can the spout itself be replaced with both a spout for the tub and a diverter for the shower in one unit? Do you know of any such replacement for the original tub spout?

I found a simple solution: Rinse Ace. I'm sure there are many other ways to do this, but this product works well for my uses.

bath vanity - attaching the top

Hi all! I purchased a new bath vanity and bought a separate sink top - it was the recommended dimensions for the vanity base. But when placing it on, when it's centered it seems like a bit of a strange fit. The sink has an indented area in the middle of each side and the front and when it is centered, only those indented areas and the corners are actually resting on the cabinet. The rest of it has a small gap between the top and the vanity. First picture shows the bottom of the sink (it's not centered) Second picture shows the gap that occurs when it's centered. Is this expected? Do I just put a whole lot of the adhesive caulk on to fill that gap? Or only put adhesive on the indented area where it's touching? Danco Next Perfect Seal toilet ring help.

I've installed the Danco Next Perfect Seal on two other toilets and didn't have any real issues. I'm installing a third one and I just can't get the toilet to sit properly. I have removed both the blue adapter and the black insert and have tried pulling it and seating it at least three times with no luck. I have balanced myself over it (155 lbs.) and it just won't seal. I can see close to a 1/4" gap between the toilet and floor. It rocks both front to back and side to side. I tried tightening the toilet down but I reached a point where I felt if I went any further I'd risk damaging the toilet bowl (in fact, when I removed the washers, I noticed they're slightly bent, so not good). The flange sits at least 1/4" above the floor and that's why I didn't use the blue adapter (as the instructions noted). I also removed the black insert because in the other bathroom (with the same new toilet), I seated better without that extra black plastic piece.
