Before I took a really close look, I couldn't tell where the leak was coming from. I closed the water supply valve, and the leak stopped (even with the tank still full of water). So I assumed that meant the leak was coming from the water hose and not from the tank (either from a crack in the tank, or from a compromised seal around the fill valve opening). So I put on a new water supply hose. Was surprised to find the leak resumed as soon as I turned the water back on. Took a very close look this time, and you can see (shocking paparazzi photo included) the leak is coming from the bottom of the tank, right at the fill valve nut. Does that make sense? I assume if the leak is coming from the tank, it should leak whether the water supply below is turned on or not (as long as the tank itself was already full of water, which it is). Probably everyone reading this has more experience in these matters than me. And appreciate it if anyone can suggest what's going on, and how to fix it. Thankya.

I need to replace an old, dirty, now broken shower door seal. The rigid side needs to be 3/8" in order to fit into the groove. This one, being 5/16", slips out of the groove. However, I am unable to locate one with a rigid side that is 3/8". Does anyone know where I could find one like that? Or another solution? I'm now unable to put the old seal back in because it broke, having become too brittle with age, so I need to get a replacement solution as soon as possible. Thanks.
