I hear trickle of water running in toilet?

I have a Mansfield toilet & after flushing I can hear a trickle of water still running after the tank is full. After around one minute the trickle always (so far) stops. Does anyone have any ideas on what is going on & how to stop it from happening? Thanks & happy holidays.

You would need to look in the back of the tank with the lid off and look to see if the water level is spilling over the top of the pipe... or if water is still coming out of the fill valve hose... or if it is neither of those it could be the flapper.

Thanks for your time XSleeper

It looks like a little water is spilling over the top edge of the pipe.

When that happens you need to adjust the float downward to lower the water level inside the tank slightly so that it doesn't spill over.

Tightened the float screw a couple turns & that did the trick, thanks for your time 👍.
