Is Tailpiece Included with Moen Bathroom Faucet Considered Thinwall PVC?

I recently bought a Ridgid Plastic Tubing Cutter. I'm not great at cutting PVC with a hacksaw, so it's been a helpful tool. It's intended for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and thin-wall PVC tubes. I'm not sure if the tailpiece included with my Moen bathroom faucet falls under those categories. I was going to try cutting it, but I wasn't sure if it would damage the blade. I've only used it so far on the white PVC tubes. This is the tool that I'm referring to: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-1...1608/203481523

Here is a picture of the tailpiece included with my faucet/drain:

It's plastic so I'd give it a shot.

I have the same cutter, very nice. You won't damage the blade. Even if the PVC is thick-walled (probably not) the cutter will cut almost all the way through and you can then easily slice off the cut/score with a utility knife.
