Pressure Fluctuation in Shower

Recently I’ve been having water pressure loss or fluctuation in the shower. The pressure loss can be enough to cause resonance noise in the Cu pipes. I have a well and the pressure tank is reading around 42 lbs. The shower has a single knob Kohler diverter valve. I haven’t noticed any issues in other faucets.

Does this sound like an issue with the Kohler valve? If so, can anyone point me to a good tutorial for replacing it?

Thanks!

Has anything else changed? Did you get a new shower head? It sounds like your hitting a magic flow rate that's causing a resonance. Try removing the shower head and running water like you would for a shower and see if you get the sound.

Nothing else has changed. The shower head is 5 yrs old. The pressure from the shower head and tub spigot is definitely reduced. The pressure is sporadic however, only getting the resonance noise for a min or so every 3-4 mins.
