Delta Faucet Leaking from under handle (under sink)
I noticed a little bit of water under my bathroom sink. Upon investigation, it looks like the cold water is leaking from underneath the handle mechanism. The leak appears to be coming down the side of this brass cylinder (not sure what that is called) in the picture.
Oddly enough, my bathtub faucet had a slow drip from the spout and was able to fix it by replacing the cartridge. Would that fix this as well?
Model is B3596LF-OB (I think)

I agree most likely it's leaking from above that point and running down.
Picture from the top side would be a big help.

Update: I contacted Delta and they promptly shipped me two new cartridges. I replaced the side that was leaking and it appears to have fixed the problem (fingers crossed).
