removing leader hose on roman faucet

Its a roman style tub faucet with a removable sprayer. It gets to a point where it wont go through!

looks like there a grommet (?) that would have to be removed, but I'm not sure which is why im asking.

Usually the other end is small enough to unscrew and remove the "grommet". I am unclear as to what your problem is. Why do you need to remove it? That thing is possibly a weight to help the hose retract back into the housing.

I agree. A make and model of the faucet would be helpful here.
