Broken push and pull bath drain plug

So I was washing something out in my bathtub and my push and pull drain plug was up and I accidentally put the pressure of the basket I was cleaning against the propped up drain plug and it snapped. The piece of the push and pull drain plug that threads into the bath tub snapped clean off where I can’t just twist it out. How else would I get this off?

I just cleaned out the curd in my sons drain, the pop up is screwed into the tub fixture so if that broke off a new fixture will need to be installed.

You will have to get to the underside of the tub, cut the pipe and replace the fixture. Then the fixture will have to be patched into the plumbing.

Got a picture so we can see what your seeing?
Most often the whole drain assembly can be removed from the top side with a special tool.
No way to know which tool you'll need without a picture.
