Stuck Bathtub Diverter Faucet

I am trying to replace the diverter faucet for my bathtub, but it won't come off. I got it to spin, but that is all it does. It has a plastic piece inside that spins with the faucet. Can anyone help me figure out how to get it off.

if you turn it back so the slot is facing down then there is a set screw there. Its an allen. Loosen it and pull spout off.

How to remove drain in stall shower

I am replacing the shower base . I have enclosed picture of drain after we cut out the base. How do we remove the drain part so we can get to pipe in side the drain? The shower base is a little over 40 years old. [attach]102142[/attach]

Does it look like I have room for a garbage disposal? I've never installed one and not sure about the drain line, will it be an issue if the existing drain line (where it goes into the wall) is higher than the bottom of the disposal. Where is the drain line usually located on the disposal? The tape measure is at the bottom of the sink.[ATTACH][ATTACH]102323[/ATTACH][/ATTACH]
