Bathroom Vanity Faucet Leak

So I was using the faucet about a week ago. I heard water dripping over the faucet. I look under the cabinet and it is pouring out of the center hole. Left hole is hot water connection to faucet and right hole is cold water connection to faucet. The center is where the plunger rod comes down to connect to the plunger. (I know pro's already know what I am talking about ) How can I fix this. I just took the faucet completely off the vanity. Thanks!!

You have a leak at either the water connections or at the plunger as it connects to the sink. It's not coming through the center hole unless you overflow the sink. Only other possibility is a defective faucet. I see water drops at the hot water side.

I figured it out. UGH I wish I had an I'M STUPID emoji.... lol

It has a removable screen/tip at the faucet. You use a special tool to remove it. There was horrible flow about a month ago and I took it off. Well the rubber seal fell off and went down the drain. I put it back together just so it could be used and was going to go to lowes to get a new one but obviously forgot. Well the water is back flowing back into the base and coming out that hole. Life got super busy and helped with the forgetting. LOL I'm not normally this dumb.

Sorry to waste your time.
