Shower Head Arm Question.

I need help. We bought this Shower kit about a year ago:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/302862403

Today when I went to install it it was to high, it grazes the ceiling in the shower. I want to get a shorter arm/elbow but the connection of the elbow is not a regular threaded one, has tWo o-rings (see picture). Anyone know what these are called? Been trying to find a way to covert to threaded to put a smaller arm, or find a place that sells shower arms with this connection.

I like the height but unfortunately the fan extractor is right above and I can’t put the cover on it since the arm hits it.

That is not a standard fitting. It is connection designed and manufactured specifically for that product. You could have a threaded adapter machined but unless you work in a machine shop or know someone who does I would look for a new shower head/kit.

Thanks. I'll probably just relocate the extractor.
