Unhappy Install Shower Door-Fiberglass Shower Opening Off

Wanting to install a glass shower door. Opening has various widths, there are two attachments, one of inside measurements of opening and the actual shower.

Is this do-able? Are there trim kits that can over come; 29-11/16" width at threshold and 30-1/8 width at top ?

Most shower door kits can compensate for out of plumb installations. They have a wall channel that receives your latch stop and the hinge stop. The wall channel can be out of plumb because you plumb the pieces that slip inside of them, then secure them with a couple screws.

Hi, and thanks for response! I can do the install myself, trying to save money, at this point I see the problem as the Lowe's and Home Depot staff are incapable of guiding me to the right door. Today at Home Depot, there was no help available, and at Lowe's the guy who tried to come off as knowledgeable, wasn't. He was telling me the difference would be fixed between the two glass pieces. Which he wasn't able to show me how. I called the actual shower door maker who said the door Lowe's highly recommended wouldn't work. But to make a paper outline/template of the door opening so that Lowe's can send it to them. But I might send it directly to them myself. And another template to the first shower door maker he originally said would work, but which he couldn't explain how.... It's a small opening and apparently not many doors to fit?

Yes, some kits have 2 pc of glass... A 6-8" piece and your 24" door. You just need a kit for a 30" opening and it should work.
