Mansfield Frost Free Faucet

I have a Mansfield 2005 era frost free faucet that leaks when I put a hose on it. What repair kit do I need?

Where is the faucet leaking? Out the spout when it's turned off or around the stem at the base of the handle when it's on?

It leaks around the stem at the base of the handle.

Look closely in the casting..... there is usually a model number.
You could post a picture of it....... How-to-insert-pictures.

It sounds like a packing or o ring problem for the handle shaft.
Sometimes it just takes a little tightening of the packing nut.

Agree with Pete. Turn the packing gland about 1/8 to 1/4 turn. That will make the handle a bit harder to turn but should stop the leak.

Pete, great video find.
