Loose Shower Faucet Fixtures and Divertor that fell out
So the diverter fell out of our guest shower a while ago and I am just getting to dealing with it.
The concern I have right now is that my fixtures seem awfully loose and was wondering how I fix it. Below is a link to the video showing how loose they are:

As for the Diverter....will I probably have to get a new faucet?
Thanks for any suggestions!!

Take the two screws out of the faucet trimplate to see behind it. The valve may be able to be refastened.
The spout is a bit harder to refasten. It should have a drop ear fitting on it that is attached to the framing with two screws. Sometimes nails are used. Sometimes only one screw is used.
Do you have a shower head too ? Is it loose ?

Where is the diverted that you are talking about?
Is it just part of the spout?
Can you get at the back of the showers plumbing?

The loose diverter is not related to all the loose plumbing. The diverter is integral to the spout.
Look under the spout for a setscrew holding it on.

So yeah the diverter and the loose fixtures we're always two separate issues, but I think I am an idiot. So I just rotated the faucet to the right a few times and it tightened up to the stall wall. Still here is a video and and picture when I took the plate off. Does all this look normal? It doesn't look like the pipe is attached to the wall.

Yes.... it's fastened...... just not well fastened. There is a fitting in there like the picture I posted. Sometimes they use nails to hold it in place...... sometimes one screw. This is a very common problem usually caused by an uncaring or sloppy installer.

Is it worth trying to fix now that I was able to remove the excess play on the faucet? It seems lik it might be a pain to get through that black plastic plate thing around the shower handle
