Flushmate power assist toilet question
With normal gravity toilets if you lose water to your house for some reason you can flush the toilet by pouring water into the tank.
Since the Flushmate water tank is sealed is there any way to flush a power assist toilet in this scenario?
If I pour water in the toilet bowl then flush it, would it work?
Thanks

You just pour water into the bowl; no need to flush the toilet. You just need to pour enough water into the bowl to create enough pressure to get the water in the trap moving...once that happens, a normal flush will occur.

Do not pour water into the bowl slowly. Dump a bucket or large container of water directly into the center of the bowl, aiming for the drain hole. The faster you can dump the water and the better you are at hitting the drain hole the less water it takes to initiate a flush.

Thank you for your quick responses! With a hurricane coming I wasn't sure I'd be able to flush my Flushmate if there's no water. That would be a nightmare! I feel a little better now.
