Toilet Flange is inside the floor.
From what I see people install it and it sometime come out out the floor.
I am scared of not having a good seal. What should I do?

You will have to clean the top off good and then glue a flange extension on top to bring it up to the floor level. There are also push on flanges that go down into the pipe, that would ensure a better seal, but they reduce the pipe diameter.
I agree with the glue on flange extender.
Everything needs to be cleaned completely.
Make sure your toilet bolts are in before gluing the plate on.
Hard to tell what the sub floor is made off but the flange extender needs to be screwed down.
If you are working over concrete you could fill in around the flange with thinset.
I have full pressure to every other sink, shower and utility in house but the upstairs hot water valve. The cold works good but the hot just trickles. Any immediate thoughts? Thanks. DanRead More
very old tub with brass overflow tube and corroded flip lever cover. the new covers available to me don't
fit. the two screws are the right space, but the cover won't seat over the screw hole bracket .
