Disposal

Hi All, looking for opinions on disposals that are suitable for septic tank service, only 1 person living in the house.

If you mean a garbage disposal - I wouldn't have one on a septic tank.

I agree with Mark. Best not to add those remains to the septic.

My understanding also is that you should never use one on a septic system. I did not know that but found that out on these forums. So I disabled mine (was in house when I moved in but I seldom used it).
