Leather peeling off on my couch
Please see the attached pic. YouTube shows it can be sealed by leather paint. Any other ideas or any brand of leather paint you all recommend based on prior experience?
Thanks in advance.

There are leather repair kits available, but that looks beyond repair. I would look at a high quality slip cover.
All the leather repair kits I've seen are designed for a single cut or something minor like a poke hole.

That's the faux leather crap - made from leather pieces scrap bonded together. It's the leather version of particle board. Had a piece of furniture like that that started peeling less than 2 years old. Only managed to get half my money back from the furniture company that used to advertise they had "quality so good it was guaranteed for life". Noticed they don't use that slogan anymore. Bottom line, it's a goner.

I agree that it's not leather. You can even see the different layers of the material. It can not be repaired. I second the idea of looking for a cover.

FWIW, even if this were leather, the response would be to either cover it or have it professionally repaired, as leather repair tends not to be a DIY job.

Duct tape....in a color that compliments. What...you guys were never 18 living on your own in a dump?

Meh, I think other kids missed out not living in post housing like I did for my first ten years.
