Which way to lay Vinyl plank flooring?
I'm going to be installing Vinyl click plank flooring in the basement and not sure how to lay it, mainly in Room 2.
For Room 1 and 3 I was thinking of going horizontal. For Room 2 I believe a T-molding should be used to separate the room in case the floor moves. Not sure if I should go vertical or horizontal in that room. Or is any of this makes sense?
Also, where do you think should I start laying the vinyl?

I would keep all the floor horizontal. My 1950's home has original oak planks, all running the same direction, similar to your home. It looks good to great
I would start laying the floor at the top left of room 2 and work your way right and down through the rooms.

Another question. I have two sliding doors with a bottom rail on the floor right now. How do I add these on top of vinyl planks? I think I can't screw into the planks because they need to be able to move. Any ideas what else I can do?
