Length of time for air bubbles to go away?
I had a contractor put in a new vinyl flooring about a month ago. As he was laying it down, he used some PVC pipes to brush across the top. This seemed a little odd and I looked up how to lay vinyl. Most articles called for a heavy steel roller to get the bubbles out. When I inquired casually about it, he stated "Ah, its fine.. The floor will eventually level out as I used self leveling glue".
Here it is over a month later and I can still see tiny bubbles over the entire floor.
Is this something that will take more time to level out?
If its not done correct, what is the solution to get the bubbles out since its been over a month?

He fed you a bunch of bull. That's exactly why a heavy roller is used. The floor probably needs to be redone, as that glue dried a long time ago. You could try poking a hole in them with a pin but doubt they will stay down.

He did other work and fixed a lot of things during that time. Yes, we did pay in full. We kept all receipts and I also tracked the progress with detailed pictures and video.
Since there are so many small bubbles, poking holes wouldn't be feasible.
So at this point the floor would need to be pulled up and re-glued?

My guess is that you will need new vinyl. The glue he used on the floor will need to be scraped off, but hopefully the subfloor can be reused.

Thank you for the replies. Sigh.. Guess I should get another contractor to look at it and verify if it truly needs to be pulled up. That way the first won't give me any BS.
