Grout Line (Cleaning)

What is the best way to clean floor grout without damaging the tiles?

Bleach and a toothbrush is my first thought.

The box stores have several grout cleaning products in the cleaning section. I would avoid bleach unless the grout is white as it will alter the color. I just had to re-grout an entire 3'x6' shower floor because of the use of bleach to tackle mildew.

Ah, good point, Z. I apparently lucked out all these years with white grout

I will avoid bleach since it is not white grout. Thanks for the heads up on this.

Unfortunately, I have tried their grout cleaning products, with a steel brush, long before. None worked. I even used it with the Shark steam cleaning and that did improve a bit but not greatly.

Anyway, I am going to try OxyClean next and will update later.
