Second coating grout lines

Tile man left before we returned home and I think the grout lines need to be filled more. I understand this might be a preference thing. We just had wood look tile installed and don't want to see grout lines/grooves. We would like the grout lines level with the top of the tile. It is not. Are we expecting to much to ask for the lines to be filled to the edge of the tile? How long do the have, if they can grout back over the new grout? I notice them using a damp rag to wipe the tile off after using a damp sponge.

In the process of grouting, then cleaning up it is typ for the grout to be at or just below the tile.

If your somewhat below I would consider that normal and no you really cant "refill" a shallow grout line to make it flush.

I agree, having the grout lines level with the tile will make the edges too thin and it will chip out. Having the lines slightly below will make them solid with no problems.

My inference from reading that statement is the grout lines might be too wide - any idea how wide they are?
