Another Grout Question

I'm installing 12 x 24 polished porcelain tile (home Depot Model # NHDCARR1224P) with 1/8-3/16 gap. I am wondering whether to use sanded or unsanded tile.

I am aware that for gaps 1/8 or less, unsanded is recommended. Anything wider it should be sanded.

Not having installed polished tile before, my concern is more on the fact that this is polished and whether sanded grout will scratch the surface as I am applying the grout. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Is this floor 100 % flat?
Larger the tile the more important that's it's flat.
If it was mine I'd want a bigger gap, main reason is with larger tile it's harder not to some lippage (tiles not being level to each other) with the wider gap it's not noticed as much.

Yes its flat. Regarding lippage, I will be trying the QEP Lash system that will hopefully prevent that.
