Stained concrete floors (indoor)

I am sprucing up a bonus room on our property. It started as an approximately 10yr old concrete slab, unsealed. I cleaned, etched, acid stained, and sealed with acrylic. My daughter had a party and several girls went in dripping wet from the swimming pool (🤦🏻*♀️). When I went in to wipe up the water, some stain came up off the floor! I’m wondering, what is the best way to fix this? Can I just touch up the spots with stain and then add more acrylic sealer to the whole floor? The sealer seems thin, so I’m thinking about trying another 2 thin coats. I don’t want this to happen again. I’m thinking the chlorinated water did the damage, but I’m sure it is susceptible to damage from ricks in shoes and furniture being moved, etc. Any advice is much appreciated! TIA

How long ago did you stain/seal the concrete? are you sure it's the stain and not just the sealer that is coming up?
I don't know a lot about acid stains but generally stains don't touch up well.

almost forgot welcome to the forums!

Thanks for the welcome
I stained them about a month ago. This happened approximately 5 days after I finished. It’s definitely the stain coming up, sadly.
