Grout repair and grout or silicone for base
What’s the best way to repair cracked grout? Should there be a bead of silicon where the tiles meet the tub? There’s grout there now.

There should be caulking whenever the plain of tile changes, like a corner, or where it meets a different surface, like the tub.
Do not grout, it will eventually break up due to the movements between the different surfaces.
100% silicon is not good for showers, use a siliconized latex with micro ban, much better long term performance!
