closet drywall
I am redoing a bedroom and starting to put up drywall. One of the closet walls is about 2.5 feet wide. I intend to run that section vertically so I don't have a seam to mud. I know I need a non-beveled edge for an outside corner. Do I need a non-beveled edge for an inside corner? Should I cut off 3 inches from the edge of the sheet to get rid of the bevel?

It doesn't really matter if there is a bevel or not on the inside corner although both corners being the same makes finishing a little easier.
Personally I like to use paneling in closets, that way you never have to empty the closet to repaint

It's a closet, no need to get too fancy. If you have a visitor and find them inspecting your drywall inside a closet, smack them. Seriously, corners are never a perfect 90° so anything that has to fit to them, like trim has to deal with it. Plus, corners are rarely visible is ways that show defects. A good place for you to practice. You will notice that pros are rarely concerned about such issues as they can make either look very good. It's practice.

Bud9051 I agree about the inspection, but I am not putting doors on the closet. Going for open and inviting.
Marks Easier is good. If it doesn't really matter, I'll save it until last to see if I can avoid cutting a new sheet.
Thanks

You are right about the outside corners but it doesn't matter on an inside corner... the bevel will be completely filled by the time its done.
